Cities +1m. Urban Development Solutions for Sea-Level Rise The book, “Cities +1m. Urban Development Solutions for Sea-Level Rise”, focuses on the adaptation of coastal cities to sea-level rise and floods. It formulates a methodology that goes through four steps –                      1. Analysis,                      2.Concepts and tactics,                      3. Feedback, and                      4. Final Scenarios to discuss and illustrate possible solutions that could be developed on an urban scale. The design solutions explore four adaptation strategies: protect, accommodate, advance, and retreat and go through the scenarios of “Minimal change”, “Maximal yield”, “Maximal nature”, and “Maximal water”.
